Barbara Spencer DeMary is a native of Denver, Colorado. From her earliest years she was drawing and painting. She graduated from North High School and took a major in Art from North High.
Continuing her formal education at Mesa College in Grand Junction, she furthered her love of drawing & painting by majoring in Fine Arts. She now co-owns a successful hearing aid business with her sister. Even though her professional work is not related to her real passion, she has naturally continued with her art.
Barbara has expanded her knowledge and experience in the world of Art. She has studied with such notables as Ken Hosmer, Liz James, Frank Francese, Carol Dieterich, Zoltan Szabo, Michael Atkinson, Rita Derjue, Peggy Stenmark, & Lional Sanchez. She looks forward to traveling to interesting new workshop venues and studying with other fine teachers.
Barbara’s home displays many of her fine works of art. Her passion for painting and her love of Art is evident to anyone who enters. Her work has been shown at the Littleton Art Depot and Colorado Gallery of the Arts receiving an Honorable Mention 2005. Watercolor is her favorite medium, but she is open to working in other mediums. Barbara enjoys her many friendships that have developed from the world of Art and painting.
